City of Whittlesea has released final plans for the upgrade of Tramoo St, Lalor, following the public consultation process.
The response to the upgrades was overwhelmingly positive. Valuable feedback was provided on a number of measures related to parking, safety and streetscape amenity, which Council will incorporate into the final plan wherever possible. This includes:
Council installing a set of bike racks in Tramoo Street for the convenience of cyclists.
Council has also sought further technical advice from traffic experts to manage traffic movements in the precinct.
It is anticipated construction will commence in early 2024. More information will be provided closer to the commencement date.
