This will be a medium ride down the Upfield path to Collingwood to eat what’s widely considered by many to be one of the best Basque Cheesecakes in the known local cluster of galaxies.

I have heard a rumour that on a tiny planet in the neighbouring Andromeda galaxy there exists a very similar city to Melbourne. It could have an even better cheesecake. But I don’t believe in rumours.

So getting back to the ride.

We’ll start it at the Mernda Station and pickup riders at South Morang Station.

The pace is best described as unhurried. It’ll be mostly along bike paths with a small section on quiet roads. From Mernda the distance would be 40km one way and from South Morang Station 28km one way. There’s the option to ride back or take the train.
